Day 3 Lecrín, Salobreña & Frigiliana
- This morning, set out to explore the charming hidden valley of El Valle de Lecrín, a peaceful corner of Andalucia that remains largely untouched by tourism. After a short drive from Lanjarón, we arrive in the town of Vélez de Benaudalla, nestled deep in the Andalucian countryside to visit a local museum dedicated to the region’s renowned olive‑oil production, with a chance to sample some of the oils. Then continue to Salobreña, a picturesque coastal town whose sandy beaches and mild climate make it an inviting destination year‑round. In the afternoon, continue to Frigiliana, a beautiful, whitewashed village often voted one of the prettiest in Spain. Here, in a charming family‑run bodega, you’ll enjoy a tasting of the unique dessert wine produced exclusively in this area, before taking a stroll through the narrow, flower-lined streets of the town.
