Flights go 7 days a week from Dublin to Faro and are only a 2-hour 55 minute duration. Once you get to faro airport Portimão is only located a 55-minute taxi drive away. In Portimão taxis are very common and are an affordable means of transport. Renting a car would not be recommended as there are many confusing one-way streets.
