Online Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for an Online Assistant to join the Digital/Online Department at Club Travel, a leading Online Travel Agent in Dublin City Centre.
The desired candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, a team player, who can also work independently when required and have a bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism or Degree in Marketing or related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and updating Content Management Systems
- Support consultants on internal systems and our clients on external systems
- Troubleshooting and performing first line support activities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise problems whilst formulating plans of resolution
- Escalate unresolved issues to Management team, as necessary
- Working closely with the Manager & development teams to UAT releases & bug fixes
- Assist on social media campaigns including copywriting and creative for our main travel brands (Budget Travel, Abbey Travel and Escape2)
- Additional marketing tasks
- Support the Management & other team members on projects as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Be highly enthusiastic with a passion for travel!
- Excellent organisational, written, verbal and ICT skills

Additional Information
- The role is full-time position
- The period is 6 months starting immediately. The candidate may be offered a permanent. position on completion of a successful probation period

Internal Web Application Support
The Clubtravel IT Department have an opening for a 1st Level Internal Web Application Support Person. We are looking for someone with drive, ambition, interest, and enthusiasm, who will respect the culture and values of an established team.
The ROle
The successful candidate will join an established team performing 1st level application support to our internal staff. This support is based around custom built travel applications that are developed and supported in house by our support and development teams.
The successful candidate will also work on our User Acceptance Testing Team quality checking and testing new and existing development releases.
The Ideal Candidate
- An Individual who is passionate about IT Systems, Technology and Business Process improvements.
- Confident, Smart, Logical individual
- A logical approach to identifying issues and problem solving.
- Constant monitoring and addressing any bugs and issues that will arise, to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve
- Testing of new developments and improvements on our existing internal systems
- Working directly with the multiple teams within the organisation to support them on daily issues.
- Be capable of giving and receiving open, honest, and clear communication at all levels across the team.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years in a similar web application support role
- Excellent Communication skills/ Interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Analytical and investigative mind
- Enthusiastic and determined approach to problem solving
- Good organisational skills & time management
- Attention to detail - ensure all data documented and stored
- Flexibility is required and responsibilities and activities are not limited to above and may be assigned to you as the Business Need arises.
Skills that will give you an advantage in the role
- Previous experience working within the travel industry with a knowledge of booking tools and GDS experience
- Experience using JIRA systems in particular JIRA support desk
- Proficiency in SQL Server using SSMS & Redgate tools
- Any basic understanding of web development techniques
