Book NowRoman Circus and Praetorium of Tarragona: The Roman Circus was built in the 1st century and held about 30,000 spectators and was used to show horse and chariot races. It is one of the best preserved circuses , but part of it is hidden under 19th century buildings. The Praetorium it connected lower city to the provincial forum using underground passageways. In the 16th century it was turned into a palace for the Catalan and Aragonese kings. Later it was used as a prison.
PortAventura Park: A must visit for people of all ages is the PortAventura Theme Park. The park was once a part of Universal park and is still filled with Disney and the Disney characters, with the mascot being Woody the woodpecker. You’ll see Woody, Mrs Woody, Sesame Street characters and other mascots around the park for pictures. They also appear in the evening parade just before the FiestAventura water spectacle at closing time.
Lumine Mediterranea Beach & Golf Community, Salou: The Lumine Golf Club used to be known as PortAventura Golf and is made up of three courses north, central and south. North and Central were designed by Greg Norman and the South was designed by the Green Project. There are two clubhouses, pro shop, rental services and a golf school. This is a must do for any sport and golf lovers.
