The town hosts village festa annually on the 8th of September which is also a national holiday. On this day you will find all the locals dining outside together, with musical and dance performances taking place across the city.

As Malta experiences warm weather year-round, Mellieha is the perfect destination for a winter sun break. However, if you want to ensure you get maximum sun and heat while on holiday, we recommend visiting during the summer season, when temperatures average in the low thirties.
