Location

Nerja's old town is filled with narrow, winding streets, white-washed buildings, and vibrant bougainvillea, creating a picturesque and inviting atmosphere. Nerja boasts numerous beautiful beaches, such as Burriana Beach and Playa Calahonda, where visitors can relax, swim, and enjoy the Mediterranean sun.

What I Loved

I loved the buzz of the city. When I walked out of my hotel, I felt like I was in New York and then you turn a corner, and you feel like you're in a European city, so I loved the contrast.

Shopping

Nerja has a variety of shops selling everything from souvenirs to clothing. Some popular shopping destinations include the Mercadillo de Nerja and El Ingenio shopping center. The Nerja market takes place on Tuesdays and Sundays. It's a great place to explore local stalls selling fresh produce, handmade crafts, clothing, and souvenirs. The market is held near the Supersol supermarket.
