Lauren's Trip to Tenerife

Laurens Trip To Tenerife Macro

Enjoyed a family holiday in Tenerife with my partner and our 3-year-old child, opting for the convenience of an all-inclusive package this year.

Location

Explored the vibrant Playa de las Americas, a popular destination in Tenerife, known for its abundant shopping opportunities and a selection of delightful hotels. Opted for the convenience of staying at the HD Parque Cristobal Hotel, situated within walking distance of the main shopping center and restaurant area. Additionally, the hotel was just a short taxi ride away from Europe's renowned water park, Siam Park, enhancing our overall experience.

What I Loved

Glad to report that the hotel, HD Parque Cristobal, lived up to expectations, and the weather in Tenerife was nothing short of fabulous throughout our stay. No complaints from this satisfied traveller!

Activities & Places to See

  • Dive into the exhilarating experience of Siam Park, renowned as one of the best water parks. With attractions catering to older children and adults, it offers a thrilling adventure. Don't worry, there are also areas designed for the little ones to enjoy some water fun.
  • Embark on a visit to Monkey Park, a small yet captivating destination featuring various species of monkeys. Take a leisurely stroll through the park to observe and learn about these fascinating creatures, making it an enjoyable experience for the entire family.
  • Delight in the local culinary scene by exploring the diverse restaurants and eateries in Playa de las Americas. From traditional Canarian dishes to international flavors, savor the culinary delights the area has to offer, creating a memorable dining experience for the family.

Beaches

We stayed near the Playa de Las americas beach. A lively and popular beach with a vibrant atmosphere, lined with shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. We went here most days and the little one loved to splash around in the sea with us!

Bars & Restaurants

One of the most recommended restaurants we visited was Bianco Tenerife which is an Italian restaurant situated on top of one of the shopping malls over-looking the Hard Rock Hotel. The food was delicious but there was huge queues outside and many people being turned away so I would recommend to book in advance. Another restaurant we really enjoyed was Tony Romas which is more relaxed dining and American Style food.
