Lanzarote celebrates carnival, so if you're visiting during the months of February or March expect colourful parades, parties, firework displays and lively celebrations all over the island!

Lanzarote is in a unique position as the island experiences sunny warm weather year-round. For those who would like to visit during a time of liveliness, the summer is ideal. However, if you prefer a quiet beach holiday then the best time to visit is during the winter months.
