Berck Sur Mer Kite Festival 

Every March or April, the Berck Sur Mer Interntional Kite Festival takes place. During this festival, giant kites in the shape of various designs and characters such as dragons, aliens and whales are flown over the beach which makes for an incredible spectacle. Every two years, the festival hosts the International Kite Championships of the World which adds a fun competitive twist to the festivities.
