Croatia is filled with gems waiting to be discovered. Our Retail Manager Vanessa recently visited Dubrovnik and shared her experiences in the city, with the gorgeous views along the coast being a particular highlight. You can read about her experience here. One of our wonderful European Sun Holiday experts, Ivana, also recently travelled to various areas around Croatia including Zagreb & the Kopacki Rit Nature Park and had only good things to say about the country. Best Time to Go

Croatia makes for a great holiday destination year-round due to its variety of sights to see and things to do. We would recommend visiting between May and October, when the weather is at its hottest and many hours of sunshine are seen most days. If you want to avoid the crowds, visiting outside the summer season is recommended.

Getting around

Getting around Croatia is relatively easy due to the fact that the infrastructure in the country is good and there is a reliable public bus system. Many visitors to Croata choose to rent a car while visiting here, as this allows you to visit anywhere in the country freely that may not be on a bus route.
