Summer is the most popular time to visit the city as it sees warmer temperatures in the 20s. For a less crowded visit, spring and autumn are also great times to go, but the weather is slightly cooler so don’t forget a jacket! Winter tends to be rather cold, with temperatures averaging at around 5 degrees, but it’s still worth it thanks to Amsterdam’s brilliant Christmas markets!
