Grenada is a touch more individual. Ideal buys over here are screen printed textiles and locally made handicrafts. You’ll find some really nice leather goods- including bags and purses that you’ll be just as comfortable donning at home as you would be in Grenada.

Food wise the Grenadians are very much into their seasoning. So, whether it be sweet cinnamon or sizzling spices- expect a lot of flavour in the local dishes. Music is a giant element of life in Grenada and you’ll spot plenty of Calypso dancers playing homage to their African roots throughout the sunny evenings while you dine out.

The nightlife here is pretty laid back. There’s plenty of room for you to unwind and have a good time but clubbing culture would not be a big feature on this island, you definitely won’t find klaxons and strobe lights! Expect more live music, and cool, airy bars where you can have a dance and a conversation into the early hours.
