Things to do in Ibiza

Things to do in Ibiza

My short trip to the beautiful Island of Ibiza was incredible! I stayed in the Playa den Bossa area, this is a very popular holiday resort boasting many stunning hotels and golden beaches. I flew directly with Ryanair and couldn’t fault the journey.

I made myself at home in the 4* Hotel Garbi Ibiza, located on the beachfront of Playa den Bossa. The spa here is beautiful, it has a Turkish bath, steam room, jacuzzi and massage treatments! The pool is also gorgeous, the perfect place to unwind.

What I Loved

I’m a huge fan of beach holidays, I could lay on the sand all day and soak up the sun. Ibiza’s beaches are among some of the best in the world.  The beach at Hotel Garbi Ibiza was particularly beautiful. The area also has some great shops and markets which I loved browsing in.

Activities & Places to See

Take a walk up to the Castillo de Ibiza in the old Town. The views from this castle are amazing. The castle itself is also steeped in fascinating history, well worth a visit.

There are many beach clubs dotted around Ibiza. The Nassau Beach Club is one of the most popular. Whether you want to chill out for the day or party the night away, a visit to a beach club is compulsory on an Ibiza holiday.

Dive into some fun at the Aguamar Water Park. With plenty of white-knuckle water rides, pools and sun loungers, there’s something to keep everyone happy.

Food & Bars

Most nights I ate in the hotel at the Garbi Restaurant. This is a buffet with a wide variety of international cuisine. There is a Spanish night held once a week, which gives you a chance to sample some delicious paella. I also enjoyed the meal I had at the Hardrock Hotel, which is only a 15-minute walk away. It goes without saying that the nightlife in Ibiza is considered some of the best in the world. With beach and nightclubs hosting the best parties of the Summer, the fun is endless!

This stunning island has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a party holiday, relaxing beach escape or family getaway we can arrange the Ibiza holiday to suit you. I would recommend booking a room with an ocean view, because the coastline offers some amazing scenery. I really enjoyed my short visit to Ibiza, next time I will make sure its longer!
