To mention one, Club Catamaran is a Bodrum institution and a must-see for any nightclub enthusiast on holiday in the city. Why? Club Catamaran is a floating nightclub on a ship that sails out to sea!

Take a trip to Gümüşlük Port Beach. It is found on the ruins of the ancient city of Myndos, in a seaside village and fishing port. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the hillsides and bay from this sandy beach. Unlike most beaches on the Aegean coast, Gümüşlük Port Beach will be preserved for future generations. You can even take a walk to Rabbit Island, which is home to wild rabbits. While watching the sunset over the Aegean, you can dine on delicious seafood at one of the many beachfront restaurants. Gümüşlük Port Beach is only a 40-minute drive from the centre of Bodrum.

Shopping  

Cool off in the air-conditioned comfort of Midtown Shopping Centre in the Ortakentyahşi district. This expansive two-story mall houses a wide range of shops catering to all tastes. Midtown is home to international retailers such as H&M, Mango, and Decathlon, as well as opticians, drugstores, and a massive Carrefour supermarket. If you get hungry, stop by the food court which features fast-food chains and kiosks serving both local and international cuisine. You can also pass the time by seeing the latest blockbusters at the cinema or letting your children run wild in the children's play area.

the bicycle festival

The Bodrum Nature Sports Club (BODOSK) organizes ‘The Bicycle Festival’, which takes place in May. Its slogan is "Hand in hand for an exhaust-free Bodrum, get on bicycles." Its goal is to spread awareness and influence people to not drive, but cycle instead. The festival draws large crowds because it includes other activities and displays such as live music performances, acrobats and dance shows.

Getting around 

Dolmus and local buses are the best and most convenient ways to get around the Bodrum peninsula. They are the most popular and least expensive mode of transportation in Bodrum. The intercity bus station serves as the departure point for suburban bus ring services. They also pick up and drop off passengers at any point along the route.
