Ciutadella The old town of Ciutadella, spread around a wide square beside the picturesque small port is a tangle of passages, archways and sudden stunning views. On the western end of the island, with the hills of Mallorca visible in the distance. It’s an extremely scenic attraction and is perfect to wander through.
Explore Menorca on Horseback Horses play a huge part in Menorcan culture, from working in the fields to being the centrepoint at the traditional local fiestas. There are plenty of riding clubs where many equestrian activities can be enjoyed, allowing you to explore the Menorcan countryside in a new way. Horse riding is very popular in autumn, so advanced booking is essential. Mesón El Gallo The spectacular 200-year-old whitewashed house and rambling gardens of Mesón El Gallo deserve a visit for the scenery itself. It’s here you can enjoy meat dishes, grilled just as you wish them, on the vine-clad terrace or surrounded by gorgeous rusic interior with its beams and terracotta floor.
Military Museum Es Castell The museum is part of the old engineering barracks of Es Castell, just on the Explanada. There are 15 show rooms showing the military history of the island of Menorca. Makes for an interesting visit for all history lovers!
